Our Story

The Start of it All: My name is Orlando Crespo and I am the owner of Fingerlakes Hots. Growing up in the Bronx, I always loved walking back from school and buying a hot dog. I was fascinated by the person running the cart and wondered how it was always so busy even in the dead of winter! In 2018, many years later, I took a chance and bought a hot dog cart. I finally got my chance to feel what the person from the hot stand in the Bronx felt… and it was amazing!

Fusion of Cultures: My wife Aurora Crespo is half Filipino and Norwegian, She grew up in the Philippines. She experienced learning to cook her national foods. I met Aurora in early 2010. She had mastered Filipino cuisine. She spoiled me with feeding me all the wonderful food. :) On the Flip Side is our Filipino cuisine! I want to give thank my lovely wife Aurora for being such a great support system and encouraging

Expansion: Aurora has inspired me to pursue and grow the business to another level! I purchased an old camper from 1980's. I gutted it and slowly transformed it in to a food truck you know today. Featuring a full kitchen! Please look for the pictures in my gallery!

In 2021, We expanded our business with  a private cafe serving the Rochester Psychiatric Community.
